The ECHR has not considered any of the 689 cases sent by residents of the Luhansk People’s Republic. This was told by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the LPR Victoria Serdyukova.
In total, by February of this year, 950 statements of claim were prepared in the republic to the European Court on criminal offenses of Ukrainian security forces. The office of the Ombudsman does not know whether the ECHR will consider appeals from residents of Donbass at all.
